Cylindrical roller bearing

A single row cylindrical roller bearing with a cage is a unit composed of solid inner and outer rings, as well as cylindrical rollers and cage components. The outer ring has rigid or no blocking edges on both sides, while the inner ring has one or two rigid blocking edges or no blocking edges. The cage prevents the rollers from contacting each other during rolling. There are two types of cylindrical roller bearings: those with and without a cage.

Classic cylindrical roller bearings have extremely high radial load-bearing capacity and high stiffness. In addition to high radial loads, cylindrical roller bearings can also support axial loads when used as semi positioning or positioning bearings. The radial load is transmitted through the raceway, and the axial load is transmitted through the end face of the rolling element and the blocking edge. Of course, the axial load is limited.
